RETURNS AND REFUNDS
  1. Pursuant to art. 52 Legislative Decree 206/2005, in the matter of distance selling, for the purchase of machines and / or accessories, the Consumer has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract for any reason and without providing explanations, under the conditions set out below. To exercise this right, the customer must send an e-mail to info@caffeborghi.it a communication to this effect, within 14 working days from the date of receipt of the goods.
  2. Caffè Borghi will only accept returns of goods in good condition and in their original packaging, accompanied by the relevant invoice or copy of the courier's waybill. The goods must then be returned to the same address within 30 days from the date of delivery of the goods. The transport costs for the return of the goods are charged to the Consumer.
  3. In the event that returns have been made in accordance with the above, Caffè Borghi will refund the price of the returned goods and the related shipping costs invoiced, within a maximum of 30 days from receipt of the return.
  4. Food products whose packages are even partially open are not refundable in any way. The right of withdrawal is not applicable. To protect our customers and for hygienic reasons, it is not possible to return food products whose adequate storage cannot be guaranteed. Article 59 of Legislative Decree 21 February 2014 n. 21 (exceptions from the right of withdrawal) - implementing directive 2011/83 / EU on consumer rights, amending directives 93/13 / EEC and 1999/44 / EC and repealing directives 85/577 / EEC and 97 / 7 / EC - indicates that the right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of food, beverages or other household goods for current consumption. In particular for the supply of goods that are likely to deteriorate or expire. The HACCP rules on food preservation also require the identification of the food chain. The possession of the goods by the customer interrupts the traceability of the food chain making the returned goods unsaleable, even if totally intact. These assets would in fact be destined to landfill. The exceptions are cases in which the anomalies (crushed capsules and / or with missing parts, packaging defects, etc.) cannot be found by the customer at the time of purchase: in this case, replacements will be accepted, subject to verification by Borghi coffee.
